Two snippets from rehearsals A study in Wittgensteins language games

EDEN studios. June 2019. Video by Underskin Photography

Work in progress. Premiere June 2020

Two twins are playing games:

Consider this: I do not know what to say or how to say it (but I have something to say). Or: I know exactly what to say and how to say it. You will understand everything I am telling you, with the continuity of speech as a signifier for my sanity.

Ludwig Wittgenstein lived in a cabin in Skjolden in Norway while writing the first third of "Philosophical Investigations", not far from where we grew up. 'Taking inspiration from Wittgenstein´s late philosophy, we ask the questions: What is a language game and how can it be translated into dance? Is it really so that the unclarity of a blurred image is often what we need? Can we contradict ourselves in dance?

One can say that the concept of a game is a concept with blurred edges. -"But is a blurred concept a concept at all?" - Is a photograph that is not sharp a picture of a person at all? Is it even always an advantage to replace a picture that is not sharp by one that is? Isn´t one that isn´t sharp often just what we need?
