In February and March I went to Japan on a scholarship from the Berlin Senate Department of Europe and Culture. The purpose of the trip was to make connections for future collaborations, show my solo, visit Co. Yamada Un and research for my next project - a dance piece inspired by the film "Tokyo Story" of the famous Japanese director Ozu Yasujiro. Here I give a brief summary of my experiences in Japan.

Thank you to the Norwegian Arts Council! Anna and I have received the pre-project fundings to work on our new duo "A study in the language games of Wittgenstein. The piece was performed as a work in progress at the plattform "Mind the Gap" in Oslo 8th of December 2018 and will premiere fall 2019. We look forward to dig in to Wittgenstein to make this piece!

I have been invited to perform at the Rafto Price Ceremony. This will happen in Bergen, at Den Nationale Scene 4th of November 2018. The Rafto Foundation for Human Rights is a non-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to the global promotion of human rights.
